Apply to jobs now, or wait for after summer classes?
Hey guys,
I'm a rising junior looking for an asset management SA role for 2025. I'm from a non-target with a 3.43 GPA. I'm currently enrolled in 2 summer classes, one of which is me retaking a class I got a C+ in. Both classes end late June, and assuming I get an A in both, it will raise my GPA to a 3.55. I know a lot of apps have been open for a while now, but is it worth waiting until after those classes? I'll most likely end with at least a 3.5 and I also am currently doing an internship at a really small AM firm this summer.
Plz help.

In summary, it might be beneficial to apply now and update your GPA later. This approach ensures you don't miss out on early opportunities while still showcasing your improved academic performance once available.

I would wait until you're 90% sure at least that you know what GPA you will end up with.
Do you know when the roles open / close for the places you are interested in?
Blunt. You don’t really have a chance. Try but make a back up plan.
Yeah the odds definitely aren't in my favor, but figured it was worth asking to see which option is better.
