Artisan has a devolved model where middle/back office services are provided centrally but each investment team operates more or less independently. so your mileage will vary a lot by team. international value at least is very very good.
Pm me
teams run lean and comp is generally very good/on par with other big LOs but does vary. is there a specific team you're looking for info on?
Anyone have insight on their credit team?
If you're referring to the HY team in Denver and not the new team based out of Boston (EM credit) - very good reputation/track record, their main fund is closed to new investors but has been a top decile performer since inception. Also have a l/s credit fund that is small but appears to have done well from a tear sheet I saw recently. Relatively concentrated investments and buy both HY and LL
Don't have too much detail but if I had to guess comp is in line w/ market, maybe a slight discount given location. Small team but the analysts seem to come from solid distressed/PC shops so assume comp has to be competitive. Have interacted with the PM a couple times and he strikes me as a good investor
Anyone have a rough idea on analyst (5-7yoe) comp for one of the equity teams? Bonus expectations? Is 200k base and 100% bonus too high?
Sounds ballpark reasonable
sounds high for 5 yoe and more reasonable for 7 yoe? idk
Damn pay if this low for (relative) juniors in the industry? Making 200k +/- 10k as a second year associate right now...
Post MBAs at LOs make ~300 TC fwiw
