At the risk of sounding like an idiot....

I consider myself fairly "tech savvy," but for the life of me I can't figure this out...

Is there any way to print a 10-k (or q, for that matter) such that it "fits-to-page" on an 8.5x11? I read a lot of financial reports and every time I download and print one from Edgar, there is a page break (horizontal line) 3 inches or so from the bottom, which compresses (thereby shrinking) all the text.

Before I get nailed with a deluge of MS, I have tried a few things: 1. adjusting printer settings (no way to "stretch" each page 3 inches down) 2. copy pasting the entire report to word (lose formatting) 3. I realize you can get statements directly from the companies, but I usually don't want to wait 4. printing reports directly from IR website--fine once it's posted, but again, don't want to wait for an "annual report" just to read the k. 5. Googling - no luck (but may just be retarded and missed the answer)

Have you tried opening it in Adobe and playing with the printing options? Is it in PDF format? is it a scan that's put into PDF format or is it something made in Word and printed in PDF format? Adobe has a printing option called Fit which usually sorts everything out for you on paper. I know you specified adjusting printer settings but I don't which one.

EDIT: Also have you specified the type of paper you are printing on, in the options?
