Barclays Wealth vs Deutsche Bank Wealth

Hello everyone.

Which firm would you choose between Barclays Wealth Management and DB Wealth Management for a summer internship in London? And why?

Thanks

I'm not incredibly experienced, so take this with a grain of salt.

DB is experiencing a large shrinkage in revenue, and is currently struggling to not go under (they're getting bailouts/they need more bailouts). They will still be around, for the next few years, but their bonuses are reportedly lower (much lower). Also, banks that are performing poorly often extend less offers. It's just something to take into account. If DB continues to struggle, it may be difficult to get a SA or FT offer.

I'd go Barclays.

Again, with a grain of salt.
