I have an interview with BlackRock's portfolio management Group for a Business Strategy Position (analyst). I'm a year out of undergrad looking to get into AM and it seems like a damn good opportunity.
The role is in the fixed income sector of the business. I was wondering if any of you have been through the interview process or know what types of interviews this group conducts (specifically, at the analyst level). Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Consulting for the last year. Interned at Morgan Stanley's PWM group while in school, so my exposure to AM, more specifically, fixed income is limited. Do you think I'll get asked highly technical questions?

Good luck. The interview will be comparable to a conversation. Know how to price bonds, know some of the buzzwords, securitization, blah blah.
eokpar02, do you expect the interview to be highly technical? I'm interviewing for a strategy position on the fixed income side, seems comparable to what tyimkor is going in for.
