Buy Side Equity Trader - Canada - Salary expectations
Yes, another salary question.
What does a buy-side equity trader make? As I am entering with only 2-3 years experience on the buy side, I expect to be paid less than the average, but I am curious as to how much an experienced trader makes. How does it compare with the PMs (less, I assume, but how much less?
The firm in question manages around 30 billion (total), and is all the way up here in Toronto.

Depends where you are working (Sounds silly)...Toronto should fetch you the most $$$
I don't know of any Canadian HF managing 30bn so I'd infer you're at a mutual fund.
