Could someone please point me to any reports or surveys covering the Canadian Asset Management Industry. I'm specifically looking for something that has info on
1.Industry overview 2. Characteristics (trends, growth drivers, challenges etc.) 3. Macro Environment (politics/legal consideration, technological forces) 4. Competitor analysis (leaders, sales and earnings comparison etc.) 5. Industry forecast
I know there are reports that I can buy for 600-700 dollars, but I'm really hoping someone has a free copy that they can send me or point me to.

What is this for? The "Asset Management industry" is pretty vague -- pension funds, mutual funds, private wealth managers and hedge funds all have very different mandates and operating guidelines.
