Exit Ops
HI All,
I am looking for general opinion on exit ops for PwC TAS Advisory in Boston (M&A FDD and Valuation group - work in both) ? Looking to get out asap since I am finance not accounting and the goal is buyside, PE or mutual, or IB. Have internship with mid market PE firm in DC if that helps.
Obviously networking is must but what are the odds here as a pre-mba switch
Thanks
How about just focusing on going in there and doing a kick-ass job?
Dont worry I plan on doing that as well...just really enjoy more finance than accounting and I know that the Big 4 can have a negative stigma for many mutual and IB firms sometimes and if those are my goal I wanted to see what chances are pre-mba...keeping in mind I will be kicking ass at PwC
where did you go to school?

Pre-MBA switch to buy side really has one best option: Start taking the CFA exams and use the CFA society to network. Anything less than 2-3 years experience and you won't be typecast into an accounting role. After 2-3 years, an MBA is usually your best option for a career switch.
Boston is a great city for AM.
