First Eagle Equities?

Looking for some info on how First Eagle Investment Management - are Research Analysts generalists and work on products (large cap, small cap, etc.), or are they on internal research teams covering sectors? How big is the team, how is culture? Is comp decent here? Long term opportunity to grow at firm? Generally considered a decent gig / place to be?

Any general info here would be greatly appreciated - have an interview and trying to understand them a bit better.

OP here - yes I do, so I technically know parts of the answers to some of these questions already.... but only vaguely and through interviews and the website. I think there is still a lot of color and information about the way the org works and structures things that isn't there though. Left it as a boiler plate question because I want to hear as much as possible.

You're telling me you've never asked a question in a management meeting that you only half knew the answer to, because you wanted to hear more?
