This is my first post on WSO and I am really looking for some advice from the senior members/industry professionals.
I am currently a Final Year Bach student who majored in Engineering. I have got two offers - top AM Fixed Income Grad and BB market risk. My interests lie within the FICC business and hence FI is my first choice as market risk is a support position.
However, I heard that getting into HedgeFunds (later if I want to, not sure yet) is more viable from a sell side role as opposed to a traditional asset manager. Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated.
