Goldman IMD Intern Orientation
I will be interning at GS within the IMD division in Salt Lake City this summer. I received my start/end dates yesterday and the email implied that intern orientation would be held in NYC from June 6 to 10. I hadn't heard anything about that until now.
Can anyone who has interned with Goldman in a satellite office confirm that interns are flown out to NYC for orientation? Or am I misreading the email? Thanks!
I have an offer for GS SLC (not summer) that has the orientation in NYC for the first week. I have had several conversations about it with the team so it's entirely possible and somewhat likely that's the case for you as well. With that said, I've also received PDFs about other matters that were intended for SLC, but were written for NYC. Should be a pretty straight forward and reasonable question to ask HR.
