GS GSAM US Institutional Distribution

Finally getting to my first post after a long time of lurking. This forum has helped me a lot throughout the years!

I have an interview next week for a Relationship Manager - Analyst/Associate role within GSAM.

Anyway, I couldn't find too much specific information on the position and it seems that on a lot of the posts I read people are getting it confused with S&T. I did my research but still have some questions.

I am assuming this is considered an experienced hire role, but it's still analyst/associate so will I have to go through the analyst/associate trainings?
Also, I couldn't find too much on the salary... Will it be comparable to an analyst/associate in PWM?

I'm currently in Private Banking at one of the BB's in client service. However, I was a private banker for chase private client while going to school and enjoyed that quite a bit.

Any other advice about the position/interview expectations would be greatly appreciated.

The position will be in NYC.
