Gotta a fund manager competition, but since i am just a freshman now, dont know lots about fund (actually nothing).
the funds include all the major categories across the world--equity, fixed income, alternative investments, structured products and etc.
Can anyone help me how to pick a fund? analyze their portfolios or the overal performance as a whole? Is there any fund anlyisis model that I can use to excel at the competion?
how to manage the fund portfolio? low risk and high risk?
Alternatively, are there any elementary books or websites that I can refer to? where can I find some professional fund research report by i-banks?
I know the questions are very basic, but i reall need them. Thank you!
