How to stand out as a non-target candidate for upcoming interview process with large firm

I was recently invited to begin the interview process for a highly lucrative entry-level analyst position focused on multi-asset portfolio strategy and analysis at a large asset management firm. This will be my seventh or eighth significant interview process, and despite recently graduating, I have yet to secure a position from any of these interviews. I'm unsure of what I could be doing wrong, except for the fact that every time I find out who got the position, it's always a candidate from a prestigious target school. I believe I have the qualifications to secure interviews, but when it comes to the final selection of 1-2 candidates, I consistently find myself at a disadvantage because of my school background. I would appreciate any advice from the WSO community on how I can make a strong impression this time, even when competing against candidates from superior schools. Currently, I am registered to take the CFA Level 1 exam, and during my time in college, I was highly involved on campus (holding a top position with my school's investment fund, serving on multiple club boards, etc.). I possess extensive knowledge about the markets and strive to stay up-to-date. However, I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions from those who have encountered similar situations and came out successful.
