Internship Advice/Help
I have a summer internship in Asset Management and wondering what people would reccomend studying/working on to be not so much of a burden this summer. I have taken excel courses but would like to be well prepared.

Current events. Be up to date on financial news. Read a financial news source. CNBC.com is fine. But don't sweat it too much. They already hired you, focus on being relaxed and likeable. When you start it will become clear what they want you to work hard on.
Thank you!
Focus on the Macro. Follow the Economist, FT, WSJ, etc. You don't need to read each cover to cover but pay attention to them. AM is as much about Macro / Geo Political events as it is actual investing as the former informs the latter.
Thank you!
Terrible advice on this thread but that’s a result of a bad question asked. You’ll have to be more specific if you wanted any answers of real value. One of the most important parts of asset management is being able to ask good questions so that’s the first thing I would recommend working on.
