Interview in Fixed Income Investment/Credit Research tips
I posted the below post in the Career help section but was not getting any responses so I figured I try here.
I have a BS in Accounting & Finance from Rutgers University as well as my CPA. I am also a level 2 CFA candidate.
Currently I work in Financial Reporting for our Fixed Income Business - Alternative Products (Hedge Funds & CLOs).
I have an interview on 9/12/16 in Fixed Income Credit Research with my current company (Insurance Company/Asset Manager). I will be meeting with the Head of High Yield Credit Research, Head of US Bank Loan Credit Research & Head of IG Corporate Bond Research.
This is for an entry level position. Requirements were a degree and completion of CFA Level 1.
Any tips?
I plan on reviewing my CFA Level 1 Fixed Income material as well as reviewing all all financial statements flow and how it impacts debt holders as opposed to equity holders.
You will not have time to finish this, but I found this book extremely helpful when I had a job in (kind of a stretch) Fixed Income. Also, is the role heavily focused on CLOs? I'd be able to speak to that and have a pretty good understanding of the covenants.

Anyway, good luck. You likely know everything in this post anyway.
Thank you for that, from what I am aware this role will not be heavy on CLOs. Actual interview wise do you have any tips?
I will take a look at that book. My previous director also recommended that book to me.
