Introductions

Hi WSO

I graduated from a non-target school and found myself working in investment operations for the past 3 years. My main activities used to be smoking, eating and gaming. Now I like to spend time training my dog and reading random books my wife recommends. I still like to eat good food! Trying to abstain from my past behaviors with consistent exercise and building a stronger mental. I created an account here to get to know the community.

I would like to take my career into my own hands. I don't enjoy operations work since the work is not deep. It's fast paced and keeps me occupied, but brain numbing. I used to daydream about working in investment research. Dreams will stay dreams without action. I intend to network here and scope out my prospects. Please share how you found yourself in your current job. Why you enjoy it. And what you would do if you were in my shoes!

Cheers
