Investment Specialist Interview - Help Preso rqd

I am intervieiwng for a big Asset Manager in the UK for a Junior Investment Specialist role.

The role is to communicate with investors and act as a stand in for the Portfolio Manager - since they are busy with the investment side.

For the 2nd round interview I have been asked to do a short presentation (15min), followed by a Q&A session on a product or a strategy that you know well. You may want to cover the investment philosophy and approach used by the strategy and its performance. The content of the presentation is not prescriptive: the product does not have to be a product of the firm I am interviewing at. What is key is to present a product that you know well. We will be assessing your ability to articulate the characteristics of the product presented in front of the audience.

So please help me out with this - so far I haven't decided on a product any suggestions - need one where all the in depth performance details and strategy information is public and accessable. I don't know many well because in previous role we invested directly or FoF and I wasn't that analytical. Pref Aussie/NZ or UK equity fund.

Things I can think of covering are:

Investment approach: - Fund size - strategy (growth/blend/value) (small/mid/large) (market segment (resources generalist etc) - geography (where) - top down vs bottom up - thematic ? - typical holding period - number of stocks held

Performance: - Summary of performance vs benchmark - VS competitors (top quartile etc - where can i get this??)

I need help filling out the performance side - what do insto investors look at? What measures of risk/return are frequently quoted? Information ratio sharpe etc? What are the common ones and how can I find them for a fund - do I need to calc myself?

Fees: - Detail fee structure

Thanks for any input. I have a week.
