Is Kiplinger's a good resource for learning about investing?

Did a search and noticed no one has really mentioned Kiplinger's mags, was wondering why that is? Do none of you subscribe to Kip's? Will the magazines give you a comprehensive understanding of investing?

I'm not asking if reading them will make you the next star fund manager or trader, just trying to get an idea of what you guys think of the publications in terms of its coverage of investing news.

Kiplinger's is geared towards wealth management. It is good when it comes to tax planning and just general knowledge of financial planning but i believe the investing articles are pretty simple and you will not gain much knowledge from it. The one magazine that I read for creating investing ideas is the economist, hands down the best mainstream magazine out there.
