Is this type of job an asset management analyst job or equity research?

The job is titled junior financial analyst and it is for an "investment management" company that has and sells units of it's own fund. This fund specializes in mortgage and real estate investments.

My questions are: Does the above job description cover the general job description of a junior analyst at an asset management company? or is it does it describe more of equity research?

Would someone be able to speak about what I can expect in terms of work/life balance, challenges of work etc.?
