Job title of credit analyst in an asset management firm

i have an internship in an asset management firm that has a fund that invest in bonds (high yield). the manager told me i will be a "credit analyst" : working on financial modelling and analyzing issuers of bonds, giving opinions on to buy/sell/hold, updating news, doing bonds valuation etc.... But to me credit analyst has a negative connotation as it refers to an analyst in a bank where you have less workload and few tasks to do compared to this. Do you think it's fair to call this position "credit analyst" ? isn't it credit research or fixed income analyst (i don't know) something that makes the distinction between the two jobs (in a bank and in an asset management firm)
