I am considering JPM IM as a summer internship. Are there lots of opportunities to move within the bank if IM is not for me i.e. to IB? What does first year comp for IM look like including bonus and does it appreciably increase in the next several years or is a position like IB just trump it for pay! Thanks

If you use the summer correctly, you can network your way into other divisions / groups. First year comp has standard analyst / associate base. Bonuses are going to be on average smaller than for IB counterparts for the first couple of years, since a lot of the bonus in IM is based on track record (which you don't have).
