Local Office vs. Big City (JPM

Hey guys,

I heard from a reputable friend that at JPM the internships for PWM or PB are just as good (and less competitive) in a local office as compared to a big city office (NYC, DC, etc.). Will working in a local office (instead of a big city office) for an internship make it more difficult to land a big city job down the road? I am a rising Junior if that helps. Thanks in advance!

Even completely random, no name boutique IB will go farther than a PWM at BBs, not to mention reputable firm like Oppenheimer. Everyone knows PWM does not do IB related work. If your end goal is IB, get the IB experience.
