Long-only funds in Chicago

I am interested in getting a feel for the Chicago long-only AMs or HFs, but am having a hard time finding any legitimate funds. Are there any large long-onlys or others that people are aware of? Would love to get a thread going with a decent list. Thanks!

Any insight on Calamos? Are they LT investors (5yrs) or more momentum (1-2yrs)? Seems their portfolio turnover is quite high

Well depends on how they define portfolio turnover. Is it name turnover or general portfolio turnover (where lot of trimming & adding is more about risk mgmt)?

Don't know if you have any other thoughts around these guys, if so would be super helpful

I know two people who used to work there. Based on the shops they are at now, Calamos seems not a bad place, but I don't know what the day-to-day is like.

They are growth investors - so trimming and adding is fair if they tend to own momentum-ish stocks despite having long-term views.
