Multi-Asset/'Investment Solutions' vs Equities
In the middle of the grad job application process and am trying to decide between equities or multi-asset at a few AM firms. I have previous equity analyst experience and enjoyed it, but the big picture/ 'macro' of multi-asset seems more interesting to me.
Does anyone have any more info on what exactly multi-asset investing involves, and how the two skill sets (multi asset vs equities) differ? Also curious to hear how the interview process tends to differ for each.
Also...the outlook for both of these fields over the next 10 years?
