PIMCO - Portfolio Analyst Role
I have a zoom interview - first round for a portfolio analyst role with PIMCO. I summited a hirevue for the portfolio associate - credit role. They got back to me two weeks later that I was on hold, but today randomly got an invite for a zoom interview for a portfolio analyst role. It seems like the roles are quite similar. Maybe I got demoted. I'm in S&T, on the sales side for fixed income. Still junior, only been in fin services for about 4 years and 2 in S&T so not sure if the hierarchy ladder is different on buyside for AM.
If anyone can provide some insight on the differences between analyst/associate. I know their is no path to PM at this place, but would probably get great exposure at a top FI shop and name carries some weight as well. Any interview advice/tips are appreciated as well.
Happy Holidays!
