Please Help - Background check dates wrong
I submitted the dates (both start and ending) for my internship last summer wrong by almost a week each, as I just guessed them without double-checking.
I have now been asked several times to provide evidence of the dates I submitted, as they don't exactly match the ones in the documents I gave them.
I phoned them but they outsourced it to India, and here they just tell me to do what I have already done twice. What shall I do?

A friend had a discrepancy for an internship by a couple of months and it was fine. A week each is no big deal.
