Prospects as an Investment Analyst at GIC

Hi everyone,

I have been fortunate to land a role as an Investment Analyst at the Sovereign wealth fund, GIC, and I was keen to find out future prospects and exit opportunities the role could bring. A couple of trends like the shift toward passive management of funds from active management and the electronification of the trading floor has got me thinking that the opportunities in discretionary management of capital has shrunk and will continue to in the future. As such, pursuing the opportunity at the SWF seemed like a viable opportunity for someone just starting out in their career.

However, I wanted to hear the feedback on the brand recognition of the institution, exit opps of those who may have worked there or know someone who did.

Really appreciate some advice on this - thanks!
