Currently working in real estate asset management at an LP. I have one year of experience in this role and 2.5 years in a prior role (non-finance role). Also recently sat for CFA Level 3 and planning on doing an MBA (non-target). Wondering what my chances are of getting into asset management at some point. What kind of roles should I be targeting given my background? Portfolio Analyst/Associate roles? Not really interested in equity research roles. Any advice on what my options may be?
