Road to Asset management (investment consulting or valuations @ big 4)

Hi my aim is to move to an asset manager as an investment manager. Currently i have grad scheme options valuations at a big four shop or Investment consulting at a smaller place but very well known in the space. Which would be a better option to go to to start my career so that i can make the move ?
