Sales in AM
I’ve been offered a sales position in AM (work-study program), and I have a general idea of what the job entails. It’s with Groupama Asset Management. I was wondering if, as a salesperson, there’s a lot of cold calling involved (I absolutely hate it ,I used to work as a telemarketer during my student days).
Since I would have preferred to be an AM analyst or assistant manager, I was wondering if this could be a stepping stone. I also received an offer from Natixis in the back office for a role involving NAV calculations and swing pricing.
And I was wondering which one would be better for my career goals, which are to work on the front office as an analyst or assistant manager.
