School asset management program thank you letter

I had an interview today for a special program at school in which you manage part of the school's endowment. I'd like to know when I should send a thank you letter (either tomorrow morning or Monday morning) and what I should include in it (there isn't much to add following the interview). Lastly, I screwed up a question on DCF modeling a bit (something fairly simple that I only missed because I was stressed) and was wondering if I should say something like "if need be, I can send you a model I've done to show..." or if I should just outright avoid revisiting any of the weaker points of the interview in the letter.

This is extremely important..

Thanks a lot

edit: So far, the outline looks like this: -thank you for taking the time to meet me -I continue to believe the program is aligned with my interests -as I mentioned, I'm willing put in all necessary effort -if you think I screwed up the DCF modeling question, I can send you stuff I've done at work to show you I really do know my modeling -again, thank you

Who interviewed you? If it was another student and they aren't too formally structured, sending a revised model in the email probably won't do any harm. and possibly help. I mean when you are actually in the program itself, I'm pretty sure you won't be operating in an 'interviewing' environment all the time, and to just get the model DONE accurately and concisely, and then communicating that would probably be the most helpful thing for your case,
