Structured Credit Analyst Interview at Asset Manager (think: Wellington, T. Rowe, Fidelity, Janus)
I have an interview coming up for a Structured Credit Analyst position with a top asset manager (think: Wellington, T. Rowe, Fidelity, Janus, etc). This is a post-MBA or experienced junior analyst (3-5yr) position. The role will initially focus on CMBS and/or CLO.
What should I expect in the interviews? I have 3 years experience in structured credit investing but more on ABS side. The interview will be WebEx/over the phone with members of the Investments group, follow by on-site.

Hi ancolorage, check out these resources:
You're welcome.
Hey, I've been on an ABS Origination team for about a year (did a business undergrad) and I'm looking to switch over to the buyside in a few years. I've seen a few postings and they require a math/stats background with knowledge of R, Python, etc. As I'm more on the banking side and not the structuring side, do you think it's reasonable for me to aim for structured credit investing? Or should I maybe aim to switch over to a traditional IB group instead?
