Switch teams for a slightly more junior role?

Hi,

I'm a mid to senior level associate on a small niche team of 5. Since our team is so small and our assets aren't growing exponentially, I'll be in my role for some time- which is around 50% data gathering/ grunt work and the most junior people on the team. I was recently approached to be on another, larger team that has a broader focus. I really like the people on that team (much more than the current team I'm on) and I think the work would set me up for future success since there is a lot more transferrable skills. It is a research/front office role, but slightly less prestigious in name. The thing that's holding me back is that I'd be the more junior person on that team and I'd likely have to do some additional grunt work for the next few years. I think salary would be the same (though, not yet confirmed).

This forum is always so helpful with advice. Any opinions on this (good or bad) would be most welcome.
