Thoughts on Adventis Financial Modeling Certification?

Hello,

I was recently sent a promo code for Adventis's Financial Modeling Certification boot camp, that reduces the price from 495 to 295. I looked around, but I haven't found much about it on here or on Reddit, so it seems like it's a rather new program. I just want to know if it is worth taking and if the certification is beneficial.

Thanks

I have heard a lot of good things about the program and definitely makes you get more hands on with the information. The certification exam actually grades you on your modeling skills which not a lot of other programs do.

I did this program. It’s worth it if you have zero modeling experience and want to work as an investment banker. The program runs for two days over a weekend, 6 hours each, going through models you would use often in an IB job.

I don’t think it’s worth it if you want to work in asset management. You won’t be using the same models and the firm you work at will train you anyways.
