Thoughts on Barings?

Recently got an offer for an internship in Alternative Investments at Barings. I was wondering what are some of the pros/cons of interning there for my junior year summer internship?

Asset Management Mock Interview

“Markus was extremely helpful throughout the session. He came prepared with the questions that have recently appeared in BlackRock’s European video interviews and explained what each question was actually assessing. Rather than giving only general advice, he listened carefully to my answers, identified where my framing could create the wrong impression, and demonstrated how to restructure them. His feedback on “Why Global Trading” was particularly valuable because he helped me present trading as a genuine interest in execution, liquidity and market impact, rather than simply an area I had not experienced before. He also distinguished professional motivation from personal drive and identified which answers needed the most work. His direct but encouraging approach made the session practical, personalised and immediately useful.
