What influence Bond yields?
Hi, can you recommend me any texts or give a short answer what economic factors influence bond coupon rates?

coupon rates don't change once there set... there initial determining is based off interest rates, credit risk of the company (worse credit requires higher yield), dollar price of the bond (which will also factor into the yield), type of bond (convertible bonds=smaller coupon) and prob a few other factors but thats a start
