What type of asset management for me?

Hello, so i'm actively pursuing a career in finance. I don't want to work at an investment bank and I think that creating a hedge fund or Asset Management company is my personal end game. My question is, what specific form of asset management allows you to deal with high net worth individuals assets. 10 Million dollars and above i'm talking. Also to pursue and find new high net individual clients would be very good for my skill set. Would this be private banking? I don't know, any help is appreciated.

Short answer - yes.

Longer answer - private banking (PB) and private wealth management (PWM) are generally interchanable terms that refer to advising high net worth clients on their financial needs (investments, banking, estates). High net worth indivduals are generally those with > $5 million in liquid net worth, but again, this differs from shop to shop.
