A&M Perception in 2021?

How is A&M perceived in terms of brand rep, for exit ops, and overall culture?

I researched that they specialize in restructuring consulting and hire from Bain for their associate positions.

Does anyone have firsthand experience in their practice in North America or Middle East?

Could you elaborate a bit more on your interaction with specifically the Middle East team. Was this also a Restructuring engagement? I am considering doing Consulting in the Middle East, would love to hear the type of projects A&M Middle East gets to work on. Thanks in advance!

A&M's Middle East team is quality and is growing. Their strategy practice is a lot of ex-MBB and people from firms that do more strategy work than A&M has historically. They also do a lot of the top restructuring work across MENA, often with expertise from A&M UK. They compete with AlixPartners, PwC, and Deloitte for the top projects. A&M pays fairly well and hours can be long as should be expected in consulting.

Some of their publicly known projects that you can look up are: Abraaj, NMC, Lebanon Central Bank

Their traditional consulting practice Corporate Performance Improvement (CPI) is also solid and iirc makes up quite a bit of their revenue, it's kind of the equivalent of a MM bank but for consulting. Yeah not all of your cases are going to be super high profile but you do pretty much the same style of work and still get the ridiculous bonus structure.
