Bain — Any news yet?
I applied and am waiting on a response from Bain recruiting. Has anyone heard back yet regarding interviews for full-time? If so, when did you hear, what offices, and when is the super-day?
I go to a non-target, and am very interested in Bain's strength within the technology sector. I previously did an internship with McKinsey, but I think the culture and lifestyle of Bain are a better fit for me. I am really crossing my fingers on this one!

Bain rejection. Had to email recruiter to find out. They don't always send out rejections. Good luck.

I had my super day 2 Monday's ago and haven't heard any info. They did interview another group of students from my school this past Monday though too. It was the Chicago office. I am not too confident, but hey, that is life.

If you are asking about whether getting interviews? If you are you might be out of luck. I am pretty sure that a lot of MBB interviews are wrapping up in the next couple of weeks. This might just be because I go to a target, but I wouldn't hold my breath. But you do have McKinsey on your resume so that can't hurt.
I know that at least for the east coast, the MBB advanced degree holder interviews have already wrapped up or are at least past the first rounds.

I recently got an a 1st round interview invite from BCG and Mckinsey, to be held next week. Some of you guys are mentioning that most of these firms are wrapping up recruiting; does that mean I was a wait-list invite or not a top candidate for these firms (because I heard back so late)?
No, I have no idea what their process is outside of my school and a couple other targets. I was just making a vast generalization, like most people on this website. If you got an interview with both you definitely aren't a reach so you're fine.

Anyone know if Bain even sends out rejections after decision round interviews? I've talked to a couple kids from my school who haven't heard back.
Just curious.
When I interviewed with Bain, I got my answers at the end of the round or later the same day. But that was in Northern Europe, it might be different in the US I guess!?
That is what we were expecting haha. But we are all going on a week and a half now. Whatever, I guess I'll hear when I hear, or not hear.
I've got first round with McKinsey (non-target) next week... so definitely not yet wrapped up.

I just got a first round interview so I think you are probably on a wait list depending on your regions schedule. If it's been two weeks, I would email the recruiter or your contact.
Bain does not send out rejections.

Good news!! I just got an e-mail from a Bain manager saying I will get an interview in Boston. I am super excited! Best of luck to the rest of you.

Target school. Had final round interview in the morning yesterday (10/29) and received offer last night.
Hi pnb2002, which office is it for? Is it harder than the first round. I am doing it tomorrow morning.
It was for Chicago. But from anecdotal experience, I know that 99% of the people who have received offers heard back the night of the final round interview (unless they are doing two rounds of interview in one week and choosing from both pools).
I've gone through both internship (unsuccessfully) and full-time, and I wouldn't necessarily say the cases were harder. But the partners are much more likely to push the case into a discussion beyond anything that's formal part of the case to test your general business acumen. Southern Bain offices gave their offers today.
How long did the Southern Bain offices take to extend offers? Did any offers go out on the same night? I had to push my second round interview to last Thursday (11/8)...so trying to figure out whether not hearing anything by now is good/bad.
