Big 4 internship to consulting FT?
I am currently recruiting with a Big 4 for an internship in advisory for my junior year. it is a year in advance and will likely be an exploding offer (I will have to accept or decline before on-campus recruiting) and once I accept I will be disqualified from on-campus recruiting for the year. I would like to go to MBB/OW/S& or other strategy/management consulting work. Would having a Big 4 on my resume help or hurt me if I decide to recruit senior year for consulting, or should I just go for it this year?
consulting recruiting at my university is incredibly competitive and i am afraid that if i pass up advisory at a big 4 I will regret it should I not get into a tier 1 or tier 2 consulting firm this fall for an internship
also- I will likely have a 3.5 or 3.6 going into recruiting from a top 5 undergrad b school
