FT Recruiting (2026)
Hey everyone, rising senior wondering how to break into consulting FT roles. Non-target with around a 3.6 GPA, two internships (both boutique, current one in valuation and previous in tech consulting as a BA), have leadership experience, and an externship. How can I best prepare for FT recruiting this summer? (Networking, Interviews, Recruiting timeline, etc.) I have no preferences for firms, just looking to get into the industry.
Make sure resume is in top form. Every bullet should relay some sort of impact you made in the job/leadership position you had.
Rip cases with a partner who also has casing experience. Target 30-40 full cases before interviews. Look at bschool casebooks and other case banks.
Make a list of alumni in each firm you are interested in and reach out to set up networking calls. Practice your why consulting and why this firm answers.
