Is NYU Stern(undergrad) considered a target for MBB?
Current sophomore at Stern here. I know that Stern is considered a heavy target for Investment Banking but I was wondering if that label applied to MBB recruiting as well. I tried looking online, but generally there isn't as much information for MBB target schools as there is for banking. Thanks!
Hi dddwodokaodw, don't worry, the WSO Monkey Bot is here.... I'm hoping one of these links will help find your answer:
Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
Do they have on campus recruiting events? I would check with your career services.
I mean yeah, there's on campus recruiting but I never considered Stern a true target tbh
I think BCG recruits there and McKinsey takes a few as well, but Bain does not. Stern is a solid MBB target at the MBA level though. Undergrad consulting recruiting might be more T2-heavy (ATK, Deloitte S&O, EY-Parthenon...)
Not sure about BCG or Bain, but it isn't a core/target school for McK
Oh yeah, I'm aware that Stern undergrads aren't core at McK. Still, I think a few of them (like 2-3) make it each year from what I've seen on LinkedIn.
Think it's closer to 1 a year on average.
