MBB Raises
For those who didn’t know word is MBB 1st years are all moving to 120k base with a 50% larger target bonus. Second years moving to 135k base.

Source? Second year bump doesn’t sound right, considering it was previously ~$117K base
Bain made the change to AC1 in their return offers to interns, McKinsey and BCG will no doubt match. Second year at Bain confirmed the second year comp adjustment.
Love to hear it, I know McK was also talking about bumping base a couple of months ago. Any word on when current AC1s will see the bump?

Does T2 usually match salary increases?

Not necessarily, they pull from the same talent pool generally. Of course if one were to have both MBB and T2 offer they would go MBB but T2 can’t lag too far behind if they want to compete. Usually trail ~6mo
I've heard OW does (although slightly later). Besides them, the other T2s are generally slower to respond because many of them have other external factors to consider (they sit within larger organizations like B4/Accenture etc.)
I've seen the base change reflected, but haven't heard about the 50% target bonus
