McKinsey Online Assessment

Hey everyone, I was lucky enough to make it past McKinsey's resume screen for a summer business analyst position and now I have to take an online assessment. It doesn't seem like the typical PST because it is made up of a 45 minute verbal reasoning test and a 45 minute numerical test. It is all online and even allows a calculator. I am not sure if it is worth studying the PST material on the McKinsey website or if I should just stick with the practice test link they sent me on the SHL site. Does anyone have any experience with this? How should I prepare?

I have been asked to take the same test but this is for an experience hire at McKinsey Implementation. It is not the PST but seems to be a third party called CEB - SHL Talent Measurement. 45 min verbal and 45 min numerical reasoning. Looking at the example questions, it seems nothing like the PST in terms of level of difficulty etc. Not sure why this has been put in place instead of the PST although, having taken the PST in the past, it is a welcome relief.

Need to do this SHL test for APD recruiting. Does anyone know whether this is in addition to the PST?

The example questions are ridiculously easy, but the full practice tests are much more difficult..

Just the SHL. The actual test is very similar to the SHL practice ones. It is fairly simple, but do not rush through it. You can't go back and change your answers even if you have extra time.
