Non-Target MBB SA Application Deadlines?
Hi all,
I go to a non-target school and try to apply to SA positions at MBB firms. The problem is that I cannot find the deadlines on their websites. Searching for other target schools like Harvard or Columbia, most of the resume drops are in January/February. Should I apply as soon as possible through their websites or wait until January?
Thanks
....to have a shot you should've been networking like hell and doing and a ton more since September...
Good luck, its harder to get than goldman ib from college for non-targets.
@zeroblued Even for the Quantitative round at McK?
no clue. I'm giving you a realistic approach, its super hard no matter what.
Now that you know that, don't let me stop you. Give it your all. Also concentrate on Plan B and Plan C opportunities. I made the mistake of not catering for them last year. BIG MISTAKE.
Hey dude check out Victor Cheng he has a ton of stuff on networking from a non-target/ case interview tips/ life advice

If you were doing things right, you would have contacts within the firm that would 1. Tell you what to do and 2. Personally take your application materials and ensure that it gets into the right hands.
At this point you're probably not in the running this year for a SA position. The good news is that only a very select group get SA internships at MBB and they do much more hiring full time. Get a great experience this summer if you can ( hopefully you've been networking at big banks) and come back next year.
