Oliver Wyman Offer - NYC or Boston?

Boston can be a bit boring for twenty somethings--it's a nice city, but it's a small city. Plus, it's not meaningfully cheaper than NYC to live in. NYC has more interesting people to meet, more places to see, more food to eat, more shows to go to, etc. So I'd pick NYC in your situation any day. You can move to Boston once you get tired of NYC.

I would pick New York every time. I've visited Boston a few times and wasn't very impressed. Sure it's walkable, but it seemed to be a boring place with boring bars and restaurants. From what I saw there's no real diversity there, it's pretty much just upper middle class worker bees. Whereas New York has people from every walk of life imaginable. It makes for a more interesting and exciting environment
