Recruitment in the Middle East after a specialized masters like Msc Strategic Management from a school like HEC Paris
I'm an SE Asian who's considering a career in Consulting preferably in the Middle East and have an admit from HEC for their Msc Strategic Management program. I wanted to know about the perception of specialized degrees and the chances for a SE Asian at Middle Eastern offices. I have visited Middle East quite a bit to visit my relatives.
Any insight is appreciated.
Thanks,

From my LinkedIn adventures, ICL's MSc Econ. and Strategy alumni have landed positions in consulting firms in the UAE at least, and it's a "specialized" program I guess.
Build relationships with hiring agencies or HHs as early as possible, there are specialized HR teams for this. They can lead you to quite amazing offers. I interviewed for ME roles before and had interesting discussions, but eventually declined a move there due to religious reasons.
How did it go for you? I'm considering this exact same option (SE Asia, HEC MSc, Middle East consulting).
