Hi OP. I'd remove the Gvt Agritech part since you've already demonstrated relationship management and strategy from your consulting internship. 2nd bullet point from the boutique experience is waffle - remove the fluff and get to the point (would save a line from that). For the film project, I'd specify the time constraints if you can so you wouldn't need to say 'demonstrating high-speed problem-solving'... Hope this helps.

Thanks for this mate.
Regarding the bullet point inthe boutique firm- So i developed asset value model for new therapies and used benchmarking to justify its price to policy makers -  would that be a better narrative to lean inrather than the way its worded with fluff? (Also great pfp btw)

Haha ty. Try something like 'Built asset value model for new therapies and benchmarked prices to support policies'. I feel like 'built' instead of 'developed' would make it sound like you know what you're doing but could just be me.

  1. I always recommend M&I's resume template (https://mergersandinquisitions.com/free-investment-banking-resume-templ…) and I think this is it or very close.
  2. Make sure the date on the market research firm is aligned right like everything else
  3. If you're going to put education at the bottom of your resume, it needs to go below extracurriculars imo. It looks messy to have it sandwiched between work and extracurriculars
  4. Obviously, make sure the date of your education is on the right and aligned with the date of your work experience and not on the left like it currently is.
  5. I would break this resume into two sections: "strategy consulting experience" and "research (or bio research, whichever makes the most sense) experience." Or three sections to have your social media experience included still (but make that the third section). Put strategy consulting first since you're going for MBB.
  6. Make your work experience have project/scope listed first and then bullets for the scope or project so the domain experience stands out (see M&I template with project #1, etc then bullets)...if these are all for different projects
  7. Make sure dissertation has a bullet point rather than being fully flush left
  8. Extracurriculars need to have name first and year like rest of the work experience. Formatting must match
  9. "Recipient of prize for high performing..." should be in education section if it's an award from your university. Put education, then "Awards:" and then "Thesis:"
  10. Languages should be under "additional information" section not extracurriculars and achievements

Some quick thoughts....make those changes and reupload

Question:

  1. Why do you have a consulting internship after your graduation date? Does that make sense?

Thank you very much for this! Will update accordingly. As for your question - I wanted to go into academia, hence why my prior internships were research focused. I only decided I wanted a consulting career after University so needed an internship to bridge that gap

It’s a joke but having lived in NYC and London I can say that the UK is far behind the US in nearly everything. It’s interesting how a nation has gone from ruling 30% of the world population to now being weak and irrelevant. Oh well, I still love Britain and have had a good time here.
