Strategy& Deals vs PwC Deals Strategy

Hi all, was curious about how Strategy&'s Deals vertical is any different from the PwC Deals Strategy team - I've heard the the PwC counterpart is essentially integrated with Strat& but in this case the fact that Strat& has its own Deals team confuses me. APAC region if it helps

The two teams don’t co-exist. By that I mean, in some geographies (like the US) the team is Deals Strategy and reports up to the Deals platform. In other geographies, the team is branded Strategy& Deals and is part of S&. There are no geos where both exist, or where the names are used interchangeably.

This is largely an administrative distinction, not a real one — all of the teams, in all geos, fall under the strategy consulting umbrella so are governed by S& pay bands, promotion rules etc. They also pretty much all do the same work, under whatever name. So in that sense it’s not different.
